Getting to Viet Nam
Viet Nam has fully reopened for international tourism without any COVID-19 restrictions. There are 22 airports in Vietnam: 11 domestic and 11 international. The three main gateways are Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi (HAN), Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), and Da Nang International Airport in Danang (DAD).
Travelers can also reach Vietnam by land crossing from neighboring countries including Lao PDR and Cambodia. Travelers will need to make sure they have their visas ready beforehand as there are no Visas on Arrival at land crossings within Viet Nam.

COVID-19 Travel Advisory
No COVID-19 test is required prior to and upon entry for all travelers entering Viet Nam.
Upon arrival, you must present:
- Proof of valid medical/travel insurance covering Covid-19 treatment. Minimum cover USD 10,000 (more info).
- A valid visa (if applicable)

Getting to Quang Nam
International visitors can fly to Da Nang International Airport and take a 40-minute taxi/shuttle bus ride to Hoi An town. Those who are already in Viet Nam can fly to Da Nang, Chu Lai or to Phu Bai International Airport to see Hue – Viet Nam’s ancient capital – before taking the scenic three-hour drive to Hoi An.
Other popular entry points to Viet Nam for international visitors are Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors can then take a domestic flight to Da Nang or Hue and transfer by car/bus to Quang Nam. Upon arrival, visitors can also opt for direct trains or cars to Quang Nam.
