MTCO invites the tourism organizations in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), including Cambodia, Yunnan & Guangxi provinces of China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam, to participate in our Mekong Tourism Internship project by advertising your internship opportunities on this website at no cost.

- The internships are done in the GMS countries only.

- Cross-country internships are not restricted; however, visa and work permits will be on the employers’ and job applicants’ own arrangement.

Job description
OPERATION
– Supervise, review, and support the team with the operation of all files to ensure the operation of the files in a consistent and effective way.
QUALITY
– Collect, record, and investigate all feedback from multiple sources. Share with the team and follow up with long-term solutions to ensure the same issues are not repeated.
– Ensure that all the procedures and processes are well implemented to satisfy customers.
– Support and coordinate with other departments to encourage synergies and maintain collaboration with relevant departments in carrying out processes and find out what factors need to change in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English.
- Strong knowledge of the Tourism field, Hotel and Tourism Management.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Creative, dynamic, good knowledge about products and destinations in Laos.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong decision-making skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and priorities work.
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
- Characteristics: pleasant personality, positive attitude, open-minded, honest, active, and
decisive.
