Ministry of Tourism and CBS to collaborate on promoting tourism film productions in Cambodia

Minister of Tourism Huot Hak met yesterday with David Elliott Ulmer, Chief Executive Officer of Cambodian Broadcasting Service Co., Ltd. (CBS), and his delegation for a courtesy visit and business discussion.

During the meeting, the CBS team sought support from the Ministry for their project designed to enhance the production and appeal of tourism-related films in Cambodia. This initiative includes plans to create new television programmes to showcase the country’s tourism potential to a global audience and attract more international visitors.

The Minister expressed gratitude for the company’s initiative and projects, highlighting Cambodia’s tourism potential and favourable investment climate.

He said the importance of such collaboration in maintaining the current positive situation in Cambodia, particularly in terms of political stability, economic growth, public security, and social order, as well as the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of tourists and international investors.
