(TITC) – Thua Thien Hue Province has just issued plan to organise activities of Hue Festival 2023 (from June to December) in association with the orientation of the Four Seasons Festival. Accordingly, with the theme “Cultural Heritage with integration and development”, activities of Hue Festival 2023 will be held continuously and lasted from June to December 2023, and Closing by the Countdown on 31st December 2023.
Activities of Hue Festival 2023 (June to December) will be held continuously with the focus on the 30th Anniversary Programme of the Complex of Hue Monuments recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage (1993 – 2023), 20 years of Nha Nhac, Vietnamese court music, recognized as the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2003 – 2023).
Summer Festival “Kinh thanh toa sang” (The Shining Capital Citadel) takes place from April to June. The Festival will feature art programmes to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Nha Nhac – Vietnamese court music honoured by UNESCO as the highlight.
Autumn Festival “Hue vao thu” (Hue in autumn) will take place from July to September with the highlight of the Ao Dai Festival associated with Hue Community Ao Dai Week combining the following activities: Happy Mid-Autumn Festival such as Lantern Festival, Unicorn Festival and activities of displaying, arranging, lantern procession, unicorn dance performance…
Winter Festival “Mua Dong xu Hue” (Winter in Hue) will take place from October to December, with a number of new activities to create a winter atmosphere of Hue that is more vibrant and warm, and at the same time, organising various types of entertainment and recreation for tourists to enjoy during their stay in Hue. Especially the highlight is the International Music Festival and the Countdown programme to welcome the New Year.
