Alaungdawkathapa Pagoda Festival, Myanmar

Locals and tourists gather at the AlaungdawKathapa National Park in Sagaing Region on March for this celebration. The pagoda is one of the most famous pagodas in Myanmar. Situated in the heart of the National Park, tourists get to celebrate this festival with the locals while admiring the breathtaking environments surrounding the place. Locals and tourists would crowd the National Cave and pagoda to light up candles and lights as a homage to the AlaungdawKathapa shrine. Tourists all over the world would travel to Myanmar just to witness the lights surrounding the National Cave and pagoda, making this festival a much-anticipated one.
