MTCO Delivered a Presentation in the “Promoting Resilient and Sustainable Tourism for Post-COVID 19 Recovery in the Lancang-Mekong Countries” Webinar

MTCO Executive Director, Ms Suvimol Thanasarakij, delivered the presentation on “Reimagining Mekong Tourism Future in the Post-pandemic World” in the “Promoting Resilient and Sustainable Tourism for Post-COVID19 Recovery in Lancang-Mekong Countries” Webinar, organized by the Mekong Institute on September 12, 2022.

The objectives of the events are; 1.) to exchange strategies that could mitigate risks in resuming tourism sector in the Lancang-Mekong (LM) countries; 2.) to share perspectives over innovative and coordinated approach for the recovery of the tourism sector in a sustainable and resilient manner; and 3.) to contribute to promoting regional tourism cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong Countries. The event was attended by government officials, academia and tourism stakeholders in the Mekong region.
