The UNWTO Tourism Education Guidelines were developed by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in coordination with the UNWTO Online Education Committee. The Guidelines were prepared by Lameese Damiri, Senior Education Specialist at the UNWTO Regional Office in the Middle East. The coordination, revision and editing of the Guidelines were done by Luis Nicolas Barrios, Coordinator of the Innovation, Education and Investments Department at the UNWTO Regional Office in the Middle East, under the supervision of Natalia Bayona, Director of the Innovation, Education and Investments Department. At UNWTO headquarters, revision was done by Sandra Carvao, Director of Tourism Market Intelligence and Competitiveness Department, and Zoritsa Urosevic, Executive Director at UNWTO.
