Koh Kong Provincial Administration, Trat Province and the Ministry of Tourism organized a friendly Cambodia-Thailand friendly cycling event across the Koh Kong-Trat border.
The event saw a participation of the more than 600 people, including 192 participants from Koh Kong and more than 421 cyclists from Thailand – Trat, Sisaket, Chiang Mai, Srah Keo, Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin. Maha Sarakham and Ubon Ratchathani provinces. The vent was held yesterday morning.
The event aims to strengthen Cambodian-Thai friendly cooperation and promote Koh Kong and Trat as a safe tourism destination to attract domestic and international tourists to boost the recovery of the economy after the pandemic. The event will also celebrate the 2023 SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games.
The cyclists started their cycling journey from Trat province in Thailand and entered Cambodia through the Cham Yeam international border crossing in Mondul Seima district to Wat Samuth Thearam, and then they continued across the Koh Kong bridge to the Prey Kong tourism community.
