Although the Chinese market has not shown any signs of recovery, the Ministry of Tourism continues to improve the quality of readiness to accommodate Chinese tourists.

In the first 11 months of 2022, Cambodia received more than 90,000 Chinese tourists at a growth rate of 113.8 percent, which could be a positive sign for 2023, according to the Ministry.

The Ministry of Tourism continues to encourage tourism businesses that receive Chinese tourists to apply for the China Ready Accreditation at the Ministry of Tourism.

The ministry congratulated tourism businesses that have been recognized for the quality of Chinese tourism services and urged more business to apply and ready for the accommodation of Chinese tourists.

Cambodian expects to receive more than three million international tourists in 2023.
