Janina Bikova is native from Latvia but has spent the last 8 years living abroad in France, South Asia and South East Asia. She holds a MSc degree in Sustainable Development in Rural Areas and Ecotourism and in 2013 moved to Laos to work in responsible tourism and ecotourism sector. She has been involved in the tourism private sector and since 2015 is working with NGO Wildlife Conservation Society as Ecotourism coordinator for Nam Et-Phou Louey National Protected Area. Her responsibilities as eco-tourism advisor in protected areas require linking together both tourism business related activities with conservation objectives, as well as establishing strong collaboration with both sector actors.
