MTCO Speaks at the International Symposium on Women in Tourism

Organized by tourismwebinar.com on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on 8 March, the International Symposium on Women in Tourism, Asia Pacific session celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, and brings attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women across the world. The event was held virtually on 7 March 2023 under the theme “Women Facing Forward”. Joining the speaking panels with several female tourism experts across the region, the MTCO Executive Director, Suvimol Thanasarakij speaks about the role of women in tourism recovery and resilience.
