Last June 27, 2022, Travel Massive, the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO), and Where Sidewalks End co-hosted the “Travel Massive Happy Hour” travel network event at the Hyatt Regency in Bangkok, which allowed tourism professionals to reconnect in person after over two years of the pandemic.
Travel Massive is a global community that helps travel startups, tour guides, leaders, and travel insiders learn, share, and connect. With 590+ members, the Bangkok chapter is one of Travel Massive’s biggest and most active groups.
Even as the pandemic has accustomed most of us to virtual meetings, gatherings like the “Happy Hour” demonstrate how essential face-to-face interaction remains for the tourism and hospitality industry.
